Cyber Walking
Websites listed below are useful sites for finding out more about walking and have all been recommended by club members. We are always looking for more sites; we welcome suggestions from members, prospective members and in fact from anyone interested in walking. Apart from the Youth Hostels Association, for which the club has group membership, we do not endorse any of the sites listed below and the club is not responsible for the content of these sites. Accommodation
Over the years we have stayed at a large variety of hotels, guest houses, B&Bs, hostels and bunkhouses. Some of these are listed below (the club is not endorsing any of these venues: while we enjoyed our stays at all of them, owners and accommodation standards may have changed since our visit).
- Loriston Guesthouse. Used by Martin Taylor's Eastbourne mini-weekend in April 2005
- Forest Side Hotel, Grasmere. The former CHA house visited in February 2008.
