Where a walk involves public transport it is advisable to check the train or bus times beforehand. A packed lunch will be needed unless stated otherwise.

|A 10 mile moderate walk alongside Fernilee and Erwood reservoirs, then climbing the ridge to Cats Tor and Shining Tor - the highest point in Cheshire. Tea shop at the end. Meet 10:15 for a 10:30 start in the lay-by opposite the Cat & Fiddle pub on the A537 between Buxton & Macclesfield.|

|Walking from the layby opposite the Cat & Fiddle pub on A537 Macclesfield to Buxton road, GR 001719. Route covers Cumberland Brook, Wildboarclough, Three Shires Head and Danebower Hollow. Peak View Tearoom afterwards. Meet 10.15 for a 10.30 start. Approx. 9 miles moderate.|
