Where a walk involves public transport it is advisable to check the train or bus times beforehand. A packed lunch will be needed unless stated otherwise.

|Details added. Our hike will start from Beeston Castle car park, pay and display £3, bring change. It will be around 9 miles taking in the Peckforton Hills and surrounding area. There may be a tea shop stop during or at the end of the hike if open.|

|A Footprints walk as part of the Bollington Walking Festival. Meet at 9:45 for a 10:00 start at the Pool Bank car park in Bollington (free) SJ938779. The walk goes via White Nancy, Lamaload Reservoir, into Lyme Park and return along the Macclesfield Canal. 15 miles strenuous.|
