Non-members are welcome to ’try us out’ on a couple of day walks before deciding to join, but we ask you to check with the leader first. Click on the leader’s name to send an email. Where no email address is given use the contact form and we will put you in touch.

Where a walk involves public transport it is advisable to check the train or bus times beforehand. A packed lunch will be needed unless stated otherwise.

Saturday 2 MarchMARPLE TO NEW MILLSLeader: Helen
A 10.5 mile walk from Brabyns Park Marple to New Mills. Meet for a 10:30 start at Brabyns Park car park, Marple Bridge SK6 5DT. The walk follows the Peak Forest canal, takes in Mellor Cross, Torrs Riverside Park and Hydro station, New Mills. Return via the Goyt Way passing Roman Lakes back to Marple. Easy/Moderate with some ascent.
