A 10 mile easy to moderate walk via reservoirs and moorland, calling in at the ‘Our Cow Molly’ ice cream parlour by popular demand. Tea shop at the end. Starting point will be in Low Bradfield next to the cricket ground, across the road from the Postcard Cafe. On road parking, or in small car park behind the cricket ground. Start time 10.30.

A linear walk from Grindleford to Hope Station via Grindleford. 13.2 miles 1800ft of ascent. Meet outside Grindleford station at 10.15 for a 10.30 start.
There are a couple of transport options for this stage of the walk. If you would prefer to have your car at the end of the walk: Park at Hope station car park to catch the 09.38 train, which arrives in Grindleford at 09.49, leaving plenty of time for a coffee and/or bacon butty at the cafe. If you would prefer a later start and use the train at the end of the walk: Park at Grindleford station in the morning and catch the train back from Hope at the end of the walk. Trains leave Hope station hourly at 38 mins past the hour. Last train leaves Hope around 11pm. The ticket price is £4.20 (or £2.80 if you have a railcard).

A 9 mile moderate walk via Chatsworth House, Baslow, Wellington Monument, the Robin Hood Inn and back past the lakes. Possible pub stop at the Robin Hood and definite tea shop at the end. Starting point will be Calton Lees car park. Start time 10.30.

Walking from Bowden Bridge car park, Hayfield (free parking by the side of the road), just up the road and opposite to the camp site (SK22 2LE, GR 048869). Route goes from Hayfield up William's Clough, along the edge of Kinder on the Pennine Way via Kinder Downfall, and back down to Hayfield. Steep climb up to the top of Kinder. Tea at Rosie Lee's afterwards. Meet 10.15 for a 10.30 prompt start. Approx. 8 miles moderate.

Columbine Restaurant, 7 Hall Bank, Buxton SK17 6EW. Time tbc, but probably about 12:15 for 12:30 lunch. 4-course menu for £21.50, with many choices for the first 3 courses (plus coffee/mince pie). Please contact me to send menu. Minimum 10 people required, maximum 18. We will have a room to ourselves. Please can I have your bookings and deposit of £5 asap in order to ensure that we have the minimum number, and by 23rd November at the latest. Possible short walk beforehand, depending on the weather. Buxton is on the train line to Stockport.

7.5 miles moderate which takes in the Dovestones, Yeoman Hey and Greenfield reservoirs.
Meet at Greenfield railway station for prompt 10.30 start. Trains from Manchester (09.58 arr 10.21) and Huddersfield (09.53 arr 10.13) or park on Shaw Hall Bank Road. Pub stop at end with option for train travellers to break return journey at Stalybridge Station buffet.
