15 places available. A 10 mile circular walk in the Chilterns (completely different from September) taking in Coombe Hill on the return leg. Packed lunch, walk may be shortened depending on weather.
Meet 10.45 Wendover Station (09.57 from London Marylebone, arrive 10.45). Parking available at the Station (HP22 6BN), cost £5.00 all day.
Saturday 5 December 2020PETTS WOOD, LONDONLeader: Chris
This is an easy and pleasant walk through woodlands taking in Scadbury Park, where there are the ruins of a moated manor house. Packed lunch. There are places to buy a tea/coffee at the end of the walk. Should finish around 3.00.
Meet Petts Wood Station, on the Queensway side (look out for Morrisons), 10.40 (10.04 from Charing Cross, arrives 10.36, or 9.58 from Victoria, arrives 10.33). The station car park is on the other side. Parking fee was £3.00 to £4.00. The app was not working so bring cash.

A level 12 mile walk from Eva’s house walking westwards, part of the way along the Hertfordshire Way and returning via Salisbury Hall. Packed lunch.
Meet 10.30 at Eva’s house. If travelling by public transport, 10.06 bus from Cockfosters tube station, arrive Potters Bar 10.25; change & depart 10.34 train, arrive Welham Green 10.40 - we will collect anyone from the station.

A 9 mile circular walk from Henley via Pack and Prime Lane, Kings Farm Lane, Binfield Heath and Harpsden. Packed lunch, possible pub stop at Binfield Heath (if permitted). Café in Henley at end.
Meet 11.00 Henley-on-Thames Station (09.57 from London Paddington, arrive Twyford 10.37 then 10.46 from Twyford, arrive Henley 10.58 or 10.22 from Reading, arr. Twyford 10.27 for same connection).

A 9/10 mile circular walk, via Knole Park. There are some steep climbs so it is quite a strenuous walk. Packed lunch.

A 12 mile circular walk from Ashurst via Pooh Bridge, taking in the edge of Five Hundred Acre Wood. Packed lunch. Return via Hartfield with a tea stop at Piglet’s tearoom, around 3 to 3.30. Bring your Pooh sticks!
Meet 11.00 Ashurst Station (10.07 from London Bridge, arrive 10.57). There is a large free car park, up Station Road. If we stop for tea we will catch the 5.56pm train to London.

A 13 mile linear walk from Havant to Portsmouth via Farlington Marshes following the coastline of Langstone Harbour and the eastern side of Portsea Island. Packed lunch. Finish with Fish ‘n’ Chips on the seafront in Portsmouth.

A 9 mile walk via the wildlife sanctuaries of Wansted Flats and Park, and Valentines Park. Café lunch and 2 tea stops, including afternoon tea at the leader’s house after the walk.
Meet 10.45 Manor Park Station (Regular trains - every 10 minutes - from Liverpool Street, journey time 15 mins). Return from Ilford Station (3 minute train ride from Manor Park). For those driving, Clements Road multi-storey car park is 200m from Ilford Station.
