|An 11 mile linear walk from Farnham, Surrey to Bentley, Hants. The route goes via Farnham Heath Nature Reserve to Frensham Ponds, with their sandy beaches, for packed lunch. A snack bar is also available for hot drinks. After lunch, the walk continues through Alice Holt Forest where we will stop for afternoon tea at the café.|
Meet 11.15 Farnham Station (09.59 from London Waterloo, arrive 11.13). Return from Bentley Station. Buy return to Bentley. For those planning to drive I recommend parking at Bentley Station to catch the 10.53 train to Farnham (arriving at 10.58).

|An 11 mile linear walk from Leigh to Tunbridge Wells. A pretty walk confirming the description of Kent as the Garden of England. Includes rivers, lakes, woods, rolling hills and the lovely village of Penshurst. The walk continues along the River Medway and into Royal Tunbridge Wells through woods and parks which extend right into the town. Pub lunch on route and tea in Tunbridge Wells. |
Meet 10.35 Leigh Station (09.35 from London Victoria, arrive 10.34 OR 09.15 from Charing Cross, arrive Tonbridge 09.58, change & depart 10.19, arrive Leigh 10.23). There are frequent trains back from Tunbridge Wells. Buy a day return to Tunbridge Wells.

|An 11 mile linear walk in the South Downs from Polegate to Eastbourne, via Jevington, East Dean, Birling Gap and Beachy Head. See the best of the RAF and international display teams performing for the Eastbourne Air Show across the eight miles of seafront and over national beauty spot Beachy Head. Packed lunch. Tea stop at East Dean or Birling Gap.|

|Chichester Weekend 'A' walk. An 11 mile circular walk (2,000 ft of ascent/descent) heading east on the South Downs Way then descending the Downs to head west to South Harting. Packed lunch; drinks at the Hart in South Harting before the ascent back to Harting Downs.|

|Chichester Weekend 'B' walk. A 9½ mile mainly low-level linear walk from Hill Top (near Cocking) to Chichester via Singleton and Goodwood Country Park. Packed lunch.|
Meet 09.30 sharp at the University of Chichester (Otter) campus to take the 09.50 bus to Midhurst. If travelling by car please park in a side street because no parking is available on the university campus (postcode PO19 6PE).

|Chichester Weekend 'B' walk. A 10 mile circular walk from Arundel including a low level mixture of riverside walking, open countryside and woodland passing through pretty hamlets. Packed lunch at Houghton Bridge where there is a cafe and pub for drinks. Tea stop on the outskirts of Arundel on our return. There is an option to shorten the walk at Houghton Bridge (after 5½ miles) by taking the train back from Amberley to Arundel.|

Meet 11.04 Guildford Station for a prompt start. The services from Waterloo to Guildford are at 10.00 and 10.30, arriving at 10.34 and 11.04 respectively. They do not stop at Clapham Junction. From Clapham Junction, there is an 09.57 Salisbury and Exeter line train arriving Woking at 10.16 with a 27 minute wait for a 10.43 'connection' which starts at Woking and arrives at Guildford at 10.50.

|An 8 mile circular walk around Therfield Heath, stopping at The Fox and Duck in Therfield for pub lunch, returning to Judith's (in Royston, ETA 4pm) for homemade soup, cakes and board games (supervised by Gamesmaster Colin).|
Meet 10.40 Royston Station (09.52 from Kings Cross, arrive 10.39). Those travelling by car can opt to park on the Heath and meet us at 11.10 near the entrance to the Heath Sports Club (Baldock Road, SG8 5BG).
Contact Judith to let her know where you will be meeting the group and, for catering numbers, whether you will be joining us for the social afterwards and any special dietary requirements.

Meet 10.30 Watford Junction Station (10.04 from London Euston, arr. 10.26). As the service from St Albans Abbey to Watford Jn only runs every 45 minutes, you may prefer to return from St Albans City to London (4 fast trains per hour).

|A 9½ mile circular walk around pleasant hilly countryside to the south of East Grinstead, with fine views and relatively gentle gradients, and the familiar Wealden mix of pasture, woods and ancient houses. Long trousers recommended as the path is overgrown in places. Cafe lunch, tea stop at end.|
